We are presently searching for an Information Technology Support Technician for our Raleigh office.

Position Summary
Provides day-to-day support for IT issues and requests including but not limited to, installing hardware and software, maintaining or repairing equipment, troubleshooting network issues and other tasks supporting IT Operations to the firm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide user support on all computer hardware, software, network, printers, and peripherals.
  • Assist with creating AD users and Exchange user accounts.
  • Assist with assigning O365 licenses and other end-user software/service accounts.
  • Assist with supporting VDI environment.
  • Perform PC/Mac setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software.
  • Provide IP Phone setup and support.
  • Support and troubleshoot computer network connectivity issues – (Ethernet, WiFi, TCP/IP and DNS, etc.)
  • Provide mobile device support. (iPhone, iPads, Androids, etc.)
  • Provide end user support via email, IM, telephone, in-person, and remote-control tools.
  • Assist with coordinating activities with IT service partner, ISP’s and vendors.
  • Escalates major hardware/network/server issues for resolution.
  • Assist users with audio/video setup and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with supporting VDI environment.
  • Assist in researching computer hardware, software, and services.
  • Help maintain hardware and software asset inventory.
  • Perform other IT tasks and projects as directed by the IT Manager.

Technical Skills/Working knowledge:

  • Supporting Desktop/Server Virtualization. VMware/VDI technologies preferred.
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows (7/8 Pro+) desktop and server (2008/2012+) operating systems.
  • Supporting Microsoft Office/Office 365 suite of software and services. Sharepoint Online experience a plus.
  • Using Disk Imaging/Cloning tools.
  • LAN/WAN TCPIP networking technologies and support tools.
  • Familiarity with HP/Dell/Lenovo/ShoreTel branded systems a plus
  • Audio-Visual technologies
