We are leaders in the design of work space environments. We have a history of designing adaptable, multi-tenant office buildings, striking corporate headquarters, and cost effective flex buildings.

The project consists of the architectural and engineering design for four corporate office buildings known as Brier Creek Corporate Center – Town Center I-IV. The area of each building will be approximately 300,000 rentable square feet. The buildings will also have two associated 1,400 space pre-stress parking structures. These office buildings have been designed in partnership with Wittenberg Architects from New York. Starting early in the design phase, we worked successfully with the Design Architect and used electronic design files to communicate clearly about design issues, both with the design firm and with the Owner. Most significant about this project is that the Owner has made the decision to proceed with analysis to determine if the project could be Certified under the LEED requirements. JDavis Architects is managing this responsibility.

This 4,500 SF office space is designed to stimulate the senses as well as provide a functional, efficient workplace. The client, an on-line marketing and advertising firm, desired an environment that reflects its bold approach to business success while creating a place attractive to its youthful staff.

The new owners of this downtown Durham high-rise office building were faced with a deteriorating facility with outdated lighting, dated interiors and inefficient use of space. JDavis completely overhauled the lobbies and public corridors in order to reposition the building as a Class A Office.

The headquarters for Duke Corporate Education is located in a former tobacco warehouse renovated to serve as an international business training and conference center. The three floors are organized around a monumental stair within a three-story oval cylinder. The space serves to connect different levels of the office internally as well as providing a symbolic representation of the company’s mission. The oval shaped cylinder houses the company’s library at its core (the first floor) and welcomes visitors on the second floor.

A three-story, 40,000 SF headquarters for a government funded agency. Located in Downtown Raleigh, the office building is part of the Capitol Park Hope VI Development.

A three-story, 54,000 SF, multi-tenant office building dramatically sited at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Shannon Road. A combination of brick, glass and metal panels were used to create a dynamic presence on its site. The use of maple, mahogany and granite on the interior are warm and inviting.
This 75,000 SF office building consists of 5,000 SF of retail space on the first floor and includes basement parking. It is part of a nine building, mixed-use development consisting of office, retail and residential space centered around a village square.
